The missions of the Education Division are to:
- establish rules governing the exchange of information important to control and evaluate the teaching and learning process;
- coordinate the preparation and updating of the draft manuals;
- take part on the work of updating the Sectorial Teaching Directive (DSE), the instructions and standards/norms issued by the Army Department of Education and Culture (DECEx), providing necessary subsidies for the preparation of these documents.
- plan, schedule, coordinate and control the process of designation, renewal and resignation of officers who are part of the faculty;
- select the instructor officers to the Captains Career School;
- organize and keep updated all information about the officers, according to the rules issued by the upper echelon;
- update the control of points lost by the students;
- prepare the Service Orders and the General Action Norms (NGA) to regulate the teaching general activities;
- make up the annual teaching activity report;
- organize the classrooms; and
- control the activities related to: teaching and learning evaluation, educational and psych pedagogical guidance and planning and teaching execution.
